a little bit about me

My name is Alexis BeDell. I am a mom of two! Colin and I just celebrated our wedding in Miami, May 2025. I have been the event coordinator at The Lush Vine in Kankakee, IL for almost 3 years! For years I have been putting together events and parties for my family and friends and now I want to share that with You.

Creating an environment that encourages guests to relax, enjoy, and make memories is the best part of event planning. I decided to start More Than A Party because of my passion for creating memorable experiences and one of a kind events personalized to the host / party theme.
